As part of her position of Resident Conductor in the Leon de Greiff Auditorium, Maca Barbosa, closes November with the production of El Príncipe Tulicio, an electroacoustic opera by Colombian composer Harold Vásquez. Deeply rooted in the composer’s aesthetic—where sound becomes a space for exploration and emotion—this work weaves together pre-recorded textures, live ensemble, and the voices of exceptional Colombian and international singers.
A bold fusion of tradition and innovation, El Príncipe Tulicio invites the audience into a sonic landscape that is at once intimate and expansive, challenging and moving. This performance promises not only an operatic experience, but a journey into the vibrant, experimental spirit that defines Harold Vásquez’s music.
